About us

Nalleli

Nalleli has a master's degree in software engineering and works for a Fortune 500 company in California. She loves volleyball, music, languages, traveling, interacting with interesting people, and, of course, spending quality time with Don. Until last spring she had made the Chicago area her home.

Don

Don has recently finished his master's degree in math education and is looking for a teaching job in Southern California. Before going back to school, Don spent time as a programmer, writer, designer and musician. He's primarily a bass player, but he's been observed playing guitar, piano, flute, tuba and even singing.

How we met

We met at a young adult Bible study at Holy Name Cathedral. After overhearing Nalleli mention that she had been to Africa, Don started talking with her and after a slow start, the two of them quickly fell in love.
